nachtljocht is a digital literary magazine for fiction.
The name is Frisian for 'night light'; the small one you leave on, the one you read by when you can't sleep.
We publish fiction with no restrictions on genre, form, or content. We're not looking for a particular style or subject. Instead, we're looking for work that knows what it's doing. The strange, the funny, the filthy, the quiet. If it's well-made, we want to see it.
We publish twice a year. We read everything.
